Validate assessment
Path: Patient>Clinical>Assessments>Validate Assessment
To validate the assessment:
- In the Patient component, select a patient.
- Go to Clinical>Assessments, and select the assessment that you want to validate.
- Click the red check icon. The Validate Assessment dialog shows OASIS errors found in the assessment during validation.
- Double-click an error to view its details: type (Fatal or Warning), M item, description, and the rule violated.
- To correct an error, select it and click Edit. If the item is within the template, you are directed to it within the assessment templates, if not, then a message informs you about the location of the violation and where you can edit it (in the Admissions & Status, Payers window, or Change Assessment Date function).
- After you make the change and save, the application revalidates the item and if it is correct, and you can proceed to the next item in the violation list. To validate the assessment that contains no errors successfully, you must complete all items.
- Revalidate the assessment.
