About validating assessment
Path: Patient>Clinical>Assessments>Validate Assessment
To ensure that your assessments meet OASIS requirements, you can validate any OASIS assessment that is 100% complete and saved but not yet uploaded during synchronization.
While validating an assessment, you can edit M items that fail the validation, and after that clinical data items, demographic items, and date- related items are validated.
The validations are based on the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Data Submission Specifications for the OASIS assessment template version.
All 100% complete OASIS assessments are automatically validated when you save them.
- If needed, you can check the validity of the incomplete assessments.
- You can validate while completing an assessment.
