Validate and complete Pharmacia in Homecare

When Netsmart Homecare HL7 HTTP(S) Import Service retrieves message from Hospice Pharmacia interface, the message gets into the inbox.

To validate, store, and use the data received in the message follow the steps provided below.

  1. Validate and complete the message. Refer to Edit HL7 Message Data window – OMP O09 for more details.
    Note: The system checks the date of patient admission; if this date is earlier than the date when the license was turned on for this Business Unit, the system denies processing the message. If the patient admission date is equal to or greater than the date when the license was turned on, the message can be processed and completed.
  2. Confirm the medication. Refer to Imported Medications window for more details.
  3. Add medication to the MAR. Refer to Define custom frequency for imported medications for more details.
  4. Customize Medications window view. Refer to CConfirmed medications in Patient Medications window for more details.
  5. Customize My Day view. Refer to Imported medications in My Day for more details.
