Business Units – Settings – ACE
Path: Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Settings>ACE
The ACE settings on the Business Units level include setting e-mail addresses, headers, footers, and domain restrictions.
From E-mail Address
In the From E-mail Address field (Text Message and E-mail sections), enter the e-mail address to be used as a from address while sending text messages to cell phones or e-mails. These fields should be completed for the following reasons:
| Field | Reason |
|
Viewing possible user replies |
The users receiving messages or e-mails generated by the ACE functionality should not respond to these notifications. However, if the user still responds, the corresponding staff will be able to view such messages and provide necessary assistance if needed, so no user feedback will be lost. |
|
Logging |
If the message is not delivered to the recipient, the corresponding warning is generated by the SMTP Server and sent back to the sender address. Using the From E-mail Address feature, the responsible staff can view these messages and use this information for troubleshooting purposes. |

Domain Restrictions

- If the recipient is using a domain other than specified in the list, the phone text message or e-mail will not be sent.
- If the Domain Restrictions section is empty, there are no restriction for domain usage, thus the application can send phone messages and e-mails to any valid domain address.
