Business Units – Settings – Orders Print Options

Using the Orders Print Options settings, you can determine the print format options for all orders, generic orders, and options that are global for all orders. Each section covers different areas:

Print Options for All Orders

Provider Number/CCN |
Enter the provider number or Claim Control Number. |

Print Resource Name on Supplemental Orders |
Select to print the name of the resource who entered the order in Field Mode, or the name of the operator who entered it in Host Mode. |

Supplemental Orders – Show Print Date and Time |
Select to print the date and time on supplemental orders. |
|
Certification/Recertification Orders – Show Print Date and Time |
Select to print the date and time on certification and recertification orders. |
|
Print M1025 (M1024) diagnoses after appropriate M1021 (M1020) and M1023 (M1022) |
Select to print the M1021 (M1020) and M1023 (M1022) diagnoses, and then M1025 (M1024) diagnoses. |

Print M1025 (M1024) diagnoses in box 21 after orders |
Select to print orders, then M1025 (M1024) diagnoses. |

Print Start Date for Visit Frequency |
Indicates that the start date of visit frequency is printed on orders; you can edit it on the Clinical Miscellaneous tab in the Visit Frequency section. |

Print Options for 485/487

Select the punctuation option for diagnosis codes and insurance ID numbers:

Print the Master ID |
Select to print the Master ID on the 485/487 form. |

Print Provider name with Federal Tax ID in Item 7 |
Select to print the provider’s name with the Federal Tax ID in Item 7 on the 485/487 form. |

Print Branch Name and Address information in Item 7 |
Select to print the branch name and address information in Item 7 on the 485/487 form. |
|
Suppress Physician 487 Notification Message in Item 26 |
Select to suppress the 487 notification messages from appearing on the HCFA-485. |
Print Options for Generic Orders

Increase letterhead height |
Specify the amount of non-printed space in inches to increase by at the top of the page on generic orders. |

Number of Agency Lines |
Specify the number of signature lines to print on generic orders. Show Goals on Orders – Select to print goals on generic orders. |
Print the Master ID |
Select to print the Master ID instead of patient code on generic orders. Flag covered medications – Select to flag covered medications to print on generic orders. The application prints "HC" after medication information on Generic (Physician) Orders for covered medications to indicate that it is covered under Hospice. Medications are defined as covered/noncovered in Patient>Clinical>Medications. |
