Business Units – Settings – Basic

Select the Basic radio button on the left pane of the Settings window and define the basic parameters that appear in the right section of this window.
- Reports Name
- Federal Tax ID
- Connection Timeout
- Refresh Timeout
- Close Netsmart Homecare completely when time out has expired

Reports Name |
Enter the Business Unit name to appear and print on reports, if needed. |
|
Federal Tax ID |
Enter the tax ID for this Business Unit. If you do not use Legal Entities, this Federal Tax ID is used for billing and reports. |
|
Connection Timeout |
Define the number of minutes for a connection timeout. If a user is logged in and is not active in the application, the connection is ended after the specified number of minutes. |
|
Refresh Timeout |
Specify the number of seconds for a refresh timeout. If a screen is not refreshed during the specified period, the refresh is cancelled. |
|
Close Netsmart Homecare completely when time out has expired |
Select to close the application after the number of minutes specified in the Connection Timeout field passes. |
|
Data Encryption |
Select the Data Encryption check box to encrypt data during synchronization for greater security. This is applicable for field devices only. |
|
Show warnings for ICD-9 codes |
Select the Show warnings for ICD-9 codes check box to show warning when patient's primary diagnosis is ICD-9 or existing ICD-9 codes do not have corresponding ICD-10 codes after ICD-10 effective date. The warning is shown as with the Unresolved diagnoses hint next to a patient name in the Patient, Schedule, MyDay, Alerts and Tasks components and in the TimeLog window.For details, see Unresolved Diagnoses. |

Provider NPI |
Enter the Provider NPI (National Provider Identification) number. |

Efax Coversheet |
Select a PDF to use as your Efax coversheet. You can also view or delte the current Efax coversheet PDF from this location. This coversheet will be used for all Efax documents from the business unit. |
