Business Units – Settings – Field Mode
Field mode settings for business unit
Path: Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Settings>Field Mode
Select the Field Mode radio button in the left pane of the Settings dialog and define the field mode parameters that appear in the right section of this dialog.

Home Health Classes |
Enter the number of weeks (0-104) to retain data about terminated Home Health patients (patients whose most recent status is a death or discharge) on the Field Mode units. The default value for this field is 4. The application counts the time between the termination date and today's date. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

Hospice Classes |
Enter the number of weeks (0-104) to retain data about terminated Hospice patients on the Field Mode units. The default value for this field is 13. The application counts the time between the termination date and today's date. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

"Other" Classes |
Enter the number of weeks (0-104) to retain data on terminated patients other than Home Health and Hospice on the Field Mode units. The default value for this field is 4. The application counts the time between the termination date and today's date. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

Prospective |
Enter the number of weeks (0-104) to retain data about prospective patients in Field Mode. |

Include Deceased Patients in the Above Criteria |
Select this check box to include deceased patients' historical data on the Field Mode units within the criteria you selected in the Weeks to Retain Historical Data on Field Units section. If this check box is clear, only discharged patients (within selected time criteria) are shown in Field Mode. |

Schedule Look Ahead Windows (days) |
Enter or select the number of days for which you want to view the schedule (1-1,000). The default value for this field is 7. For example, if you enter 14, the next time you login to the application your PDA device downloads data for all patients you are scheduled to visit within the next 14 days. |

Services |
Enter the number of weeks (4-104) to retain data about services on the Field Mode units. The default value for this field is 26. xxx The application counts the time between the date of the service entered in the Date Provided field and the today's date. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

Current Operator Activities |
Enter the number of weeks (4-104) to retain data about the operator's activities on the Field Mode units. The default value for this field is 26. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

Other Staff Member Activities |
Enter the number of weeks (0-104) to retain data about the operator and other staff members' activities in Field Mode. The default value for this field is 26. If 0 is specified, then no activities are retained in Field Mode. After synchronization, the outdated data is not available in Field Mode. |

Limit Copy/Delete Weeks in Schedule |
Enter the number of weeks (1-99) to limit copying and deleting weeks during a single operation in the Schedule component on the Field Mode device. For example, you can copy or delete up to 4 weeks in schedule at once, and then repeat copying/deleting weeks for the next 4 weeks if needed. xxx Note: The default value for this field is 2 weeks. |

Active Prospective Patients |
