Rules for creating HIS forms
Path: Patient > Documents > Hospice Item Set
- The patient is admitted after the HIS effective date (July 1, 2014).
- The Use HIS check box is selected for patient's class in Administration > General > Patient Classes.
- For a HIS admission form, the patient must be admitted or readmitted.
- A HIS admission form must exist before you create a HIS discharge form.
Additionally, the QIES facility ID must be defined in Administration > Financial > Insurance Codes > QIES Facility ID for the benefit payer that is active on the hospice patient's admission date.
