Modify exported HIS forms
Path: Patient > Documents > Hospice Item Set
Prerequisite: To modify HIS forms, you must be granted appropriate privileges by the Netsmart Homecare administrator.
- Select a patient, and go to Patient > Documents > Hospice Item Set.
- Select the HIS form that you want to edit, and then click Modify. The HIS Form Details window opens with 2. Modify existing record selected in A0050.
- Edits the items that contain the patient's clinical record, but not the Patient and Form Identifying HIS Items. Important: Ensure that updates to this form are also reflected in the patient record.
- Click Validate to ensure that the HIS form meets the QIES ASAP system requirements, and correct the errors, if any.
- Click OK, and then electronically sign the form by entering your operator's login password in the Electronic Signature window.
Your electronic signature is recorded in Z0400 after you save the form. - Preview the HIS form to ensure that all HIS items are complete and the person verifying the form can proceed withProvide final signature to HIS forms, and save your changes.
Note: Exported forms that were modified cannot be deactivated.
