Manage appointments with the Scheduling Calendar
Manage appointments at multiple sites for staff members, clients, and groups.

- Appointment Scheduling options and preferences are set up in the Appointment Scheduling section of the User Role/User Role Definition forms.
- Site Registration - A site must be associated with at least one staff member, the user must have permission to the site, and they must have permission to See Other Practitioner Calendars set in User Definition to see other staff members assigned to the site. Staff member availability is maintained in the Staff Members Hours and Exceptions form.
- Site Specific Section Modeling can be used to add a report command button to the Appointment Details form in the Scheduling Calendar. Refer to Site Specific Section Modeling (RADplus User Guide) for additional information.
- Go to Avatar PM > Appointment Scheduling > Scheduling Calendar
- The Filter section on the upper left-hand side of the screen provides you with several options for filtering the data in the calendar.
- The Site filter allows you to restrict data to a single location. See Site Registration for more information.
- If the user is associated with a practitioner, all sites that are accessible to that user will display.
- The Team filter allows you to restrict data to a single team. See Team Definition for more information.
- The Room filter allows you to restrict data to a single room within the site. See Room Definition for more information.
- The Site filter allows you to restrict data to a single location. See Site Registration for more information.
- Select the practitioners from the check-off list to include their appointments in the Scheduling Calendar view. Only practitioners who have hours associated with the selected site appear in this list.
- If multiple practitioner calendars are open, click on the practitioner's name (not the check box) to highlight their appointments on the calendar.
- Select Day, Week, or Month in the View field to change the Scheduling Calendar view.
- Select the arrows under the View field to move to the previous or next day/week/month.
Note: The current day is highlighted on the calendar with a red border around the date - Check off the Work Week field to switch from the full week view to the work week view.
- Check off the Hide Team field to hide team appointments for members that are not the Primary or Co-Practitioners.
- Uncheck the Date Filter field to hide the date filter.
- Uncheck the Filter Panel field to hide the filter panel.
- Check off the Shrink To Fit field to fit the calendar size to the screen.
- Check off the Ms Exchange field to display Microsoft Exchange appointments.
- Check off the Show Names field to display the clients' names in their scheduled appointments.
- Check off the Show MR# field to display the client's Medical Record numbers in their scheduled appointments.
- Check off the Batch Refresh field to allow the scheduling calendar to refresh when an appointment is filed or deleted.
- This field is available when the Disable Scheduling Calendar Auto-Refresh registry setting is set to 'N'.
- Select the arrows under the View field to move to the previous or next day/week/month.
