Find new appointment

Find available times for a new appointment by opening the Find New Appointment link on the Scheduling Calendar form.


  1. Click Find New Appointment. The Find New Appointment form displays.
  2. In the Search Site(s) field, check off the sites to include in the search.
  3. Enter the Search Start Date and Search End Date.
  4. Enter the Search Start Time and Search End Time.
  5. Check off the days of the week to include in the search.
  6. In the Search Duration field, enter the block (in minutes) of available time needed.
  7. Enter the Practitioner Name or ID#, and select the practitioner from the list of matches.
    or
    Select the Practitioner Ethnicity and Practitioner Gender to include in the search.
  8. Enter the Service Code Name or ID#, and select the appropriate service code for the new appointment.
  9. Enter the Maximum Number of Search Results To Display.
  10. In the Eligible Practitioner Code field, select any categories that you wish to filter the results.
  11. In the Practitioner Language field, select the practitioner language to include in the search.
  12. Click Find Availability to display the Find New Appointment Results screen.
  13. Select an available appointment and click OK.
  14. The Appointment Details form displays with the selections made in the Find New Appointment form. Edit as necessary.
  15. Edit as necessary. (Refer to Add Appointment drop-down menu for specific instructions.)
  16. Click Submit.
