Business Units – Branches Tab
Path: Administration>Configuration>Business Units
Use this tab to define active branches within your Business Unit. To make the branch record available for use, select the Active check box. For each branch, you can enter address information such as street address, city, state, and ZIP code, specify phone number and extension, fax, and e-mail.
If required by your agency, you can also edit or complete the following information for each branch:

Enter the Branch ID to be used in assessments, up to 10 alphanumeric characters. If the branch is selected for the admission status line (in Patient>General>Admissions & Status) where an assessment is created, then the Branch ID is taken from the corresponding branch in Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Branches>M0016. Otherwise, the Branch ID is taken from Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Address>M0016. If only partial information is specified for the specific branch (only M0016 value), then the missing information (the state for the M0014 value) is taken from Administration>Configuration>Business Units>Address, if any. Important: The M0016 value is prefilled into an assessment at the time of the assessment creation. Thus, if you update the M0016 value in the Administration component, the previously created assessments will not reflect these changes. |
