Task List is designed as a widget that must be added to a new console view in View Definition. The recommendation is to have a console with only Task List that does not include the client header.
Task frequencies are created by Order Entry frequency codes. If Order Entry frequency codes already exist when the Task List updates are initially loaded, they will automatically load as task frequencies, which may be edited for use within Task List if needed.
Task Groups may be defined to trigger multiple tasks based on a single event, which are associated on the Task Associations form. Tasks may be simultaneous with the triggering event or offset from the event by a specific number of minutes, hours, days, or calendar days.
Standing tasks are those individual tasks and/or task groups that are generated following an admission or transfer to a program. Each standing task may be defined with a specific frequency and/or duration that will override the duration or frequency configured for the Task Definition or Task Group.
When creating an order, eMAR administration, or treatment plan intervention requires completion of one or more tasks, use the Task Associations form to associate those events to tasks.
The Void Task Action section of Task Reporting allows you to void a mistaken event, including a record of an attempt, dismissal, completion, or incomplete event. Voiding a task event will record the void and void reason and undo the action on the Task List.
The Task Reporting form includes three sections: Task Reporting, Dismiss Task, and Void Task Action. Users with access to the Task Reporting form may run reports or take corrective action on task occurrences.
