Define Task Associations
When creating an order, eMAR administration, or treatment plan intervention requires completion of one or more tasks, use the Task Associations form to associate those events to tasks.

Treatment Plan Intervention
Select the treatment plan intervention, defined as a library item via Treatment Plan Definition, to associate to a Task or Task Group. Only interventions with a frequency code defined in the plan will be tasked.
Order Event
Select whether a new order or an eMAR administration should result in a task on Task List. Available options are Administration, Order Entry, and Pre-Administration. Administration should be selected when the Task should be created upon administration of the associated item via eMAR. Order Entry will generate the task(s) upon submission of an order with an associated order code. When the option of Pre-Administration is selected, a direct link to a flowsheet assessment may be attached to an order on eMAR. Pre-Administration does not create a task on Task List. Instead, it presents the Task on the order details card in eMAR. Note that Pre-Administration tasks require use of Flowsheet.
Order Code
When an order event (Administration or Order Entry) should result in a task, select the specific Order Code to associate. Only one of Order Code, Primary Name (Medication), or Route of Administration may be selected.
Order Type
When multiple order codes are associated to a single task, select the specific Order Type to associate.
If an Order Code in an Order Type has an individual task association, the individual task association will be utilized instead of the Order Type association. This will avoid duplicate tasks.

Route of Administration
When an order event (Administration or Order Entry) should result in a task, select the specific eMAR route of administration to associate. Only one of Order Code, Primary Name (Medication), or Route of Administration may be selected.
Group with other Administrations
If multiple simultaneous administrations (same administration date and time) may trigger two or more occurrences of the same task, select Yes to restrict to a single task that will complete the associated administration tasks.
Limit to the Following Admin Events
When the selected task should only be presented when the administration was provided via a specific route, select all applicable routes that should result in a task.
