Edit HL7 Message Data window – OMP O09
Path: Interface>HL7>HL7 Inbound Processing>Edit HL7 Message Data
When the Netsmart Homecare HL7 HTTP(S) Import Service retrieves an OMP O09 message, the message is displayed in the Inbound Processing window.
To store the message data in the Netsmart Homecare database, you should validate and complete this message using the HL7 Inbound Processing window (see Edit HL7 Message Data window – OMP O09 for more details). If the message contains errors, refer to HL7 errors processing.
Errors will be generated when required data is missing from an OMP O09 message. You can click the Edit Message button or double-click the message to view or edit data in the message.
The received OMP O09 message contains three sets of data, which are displayed as separate tabs in the Edit HL7 Message Data window:
- HL7 Message Parameters (Edit HL7 Message Data window – HL7 Message Params tab)
- Business Unit (Edit HL7 Message Data window – Business Unit tab)
- Patient Medication information (Edit HL7 Message Data window – Patient tab)
This information is used to identify a patient, to check the vendor license, and to process the message.
