Button	Description
Create MAR/Activate MAR/Deactivate MAR	This button changes its name depending on the selected MAR. If all MARs are deactivated, the button reads 'Create New' and you can proceed with Create MAR. If you created a new MAR but have not activated it yet, the button reads 'Activate MAR' and you can proceed with Activate MAR. If you selected the currently active MAR, the button reads 'Deactivate MAR' and you can proceed with Deactivate MAR. If you selected the deactivated MAR but the currently active MAR exists, this button is inactive.
Add/Edit Meds	Use this mode to add or edit medications in the MAR. In this mode, the buttons for adding and arranging medications appear on the top of the MAR Grid. The options on the Filter Tab are not active in this mode. For more information, see Add Medications to MAR.
Document/View	Use the Document mode to document the administration of medications. In this mode, the buttons for viewing medications not in MAR, reviewing MAR, marking MAR as given, and capturing patient signature appear at the bottom of the MAR Grid. For more information, see Document MAR Medications. The mode button reads 'View' when you do not have privileges to document MAR or if there is no MAR available for documenting.
Delete MAR	Click this button to delete the current MAR. This button is available in the Add/Edit mode only. You can delete MAR only if there are no documented medications in it.
