HL7 Business Unit tab

The Netsmart Homecare HL7 Interface uses the Business Unit value along with other data to validate licensing and to identify a patient within the organization.

Taking into account vendor name and Business Unit, the HL7 functionality checks whether the Business Unit is licensed for the processing of imported clinical monitoring data from the certain vendor (indicated in the Vendor Name field of the HL7 Message Params tab).
