About Telemedicine workflow

Once the HL7 Service receives an ORU R01 message from external HL7 device, the internal inbound processing is initiated. The message goes into the inbox and the HL7 Web service starts checking the message.

If the message contains errors and warnings, the user should review the message and correct the errors when necessary. After that, the message should be validated and completed. Refer to the Edit HL7 Message Data window - ORU R01 for more details.

When the ORU R01 message is completed, the data from that message are stored in the Netsmart Homecare database. You can view the data using the following windows:

• Clinical Notes window
• Revision History window
• View Clinical Data window
