Schedule event in patient mode

Path: Schedule> View > Patient Mode

When scheduling visits for a patient in Patient Mode, you can see the patient's entire schedule including visits in other Business Units.

  • You can identify visits scheduled in other Business Units, because they include the Business Unit name in the caption box for the visit in the calendar.
  • Conflict checking takes into account all visits and warns you if you are trying to schedule a visit that conflicts with a previously-scheduled visit regardless of the Business Unit.

For agencies that share a Resource Set across Business Units, Staff Mode also displays all scheduled visits for a staff member, regardless of the Business Unit the visit is scheduled in.

To schedule new event in Patient Mode, do the following:

  1. Open the Schedule component.
  2. On the menu bar, select View > Patient Mode.
  3. Select the needed patient.
  4. Select Events > Schedule New Event on the menu bar or double-click the calendar where you want to schedule the event. The New Event window opens.
  5. Complete the fields as appropriate. For details, see New Event Window.
  6. Click Save.
