Security Levels - Dictionary Value
Security levels are used in select areas in myAvatar to define edit access to that functionality. If a security level is defined, all users (including system administrators), can access security levels equal to or below their level.
Security Levels are set in User Definition and User Role Definition.
Level 1 is the lowest security level.
The following areas are influenced by security levels:
Avatar PM
- The Security Level field on the Posting/Adjustment Code Definition form controls the security level required to access the code.
- The registry setting Enable Security Level Maximum Amount controls security-related fields on the Posting/Adjustment Code Definition form.
- The registry setting Restrict Edits to Diagnosis Records controls security for the Diagnosis form.
- The registry setting Restrict Movements for Verified Units controls security for Client Management forms.
- The registry setting 'Limit Open Active Episodes To One' Override Security Level controls security for overriding Program Maintenance functionality.
Avatar CWS
- The registry setting Edit/Delete Security Level Override controls security for editing documents authored by another user.
- The registry setting Append Security Level Override controls security for append documents in CWS.
Avatar Document Routing
- The registry setting Append Security Level Override controls security for append documents in Document Routing.
Avatar MSO
- The registry setting Security Level Required To Delete Service Authorization From Pre Display controls security for the Service Authorization form.
- The registry setting Security Level Required To Delete Service Authorization From Pre Display controls security for the Member Enrollment form.
Avatar RADplus
- Dictionary Update access is controlled by Security Levels. In Table Definition - Column Definition - Type of Column, in a Dictionary column, the Security Level is set in "Security Level to Modify Dictionary Values".
- Quick User Update is also controlled by Security Levels.
