About Console Widget Configuration
Consoles allow you to change the display of your myAvatar Home View. Multiple Home Views can be accessed via a button at the top of the myAvatar screen. These consoles are configurable by myAvatar system administrators. The widgets displayed on these consoles are called Console Widgets.
Console widgets display a 'snapshot' of current information in myAvatar (or from a website) in windows that can be configured for your system. Widgets usually have a button or hyperlink for opening a corresponding form in myAvatar to view details and update information if needed.
Information in myAvatar can be episodic (related to a specific program of care) or non-episodic (general to the client). To view client information a widget, first select the client in the Client & Staff widget, then select the episode of care.
myAvatar comes standard with a number of available widgets that can be assigned to users' Home View, myDay, or Chart View.
Use these forms to create custom widgets:
Console widgets can only be created on forms that have both a client and an information pre-display.
You can define Console widgets to display information from single or multiple forms. These widgets display the form name at the top of the widget window and the records in the window. Users can also create new records from within the widget.
Use the Console Widget Configuration form to create both single and multiple form widgets. The Console Widget Configuration form displays all product and user-defined forms for the solution (myAvatar PM, CWS, MSO or CFMS) with a client and an information pre-display.
