About data structure in myAvatar
If you're new to data structure in myAvatar, it can be helpful to understand how myAvatar's data structure is designed.
Each myAvatar environment instance has the potential to have two or more myAvatar Applications.
These applications (also called Namespaces) include Practice Management (PM), Clinician Work Station (CWS), Managed Services Organization (MSO), and Client Funds Management System (CFMS).
- PM – Designed to be the core of Netsmart's myAvatar suite, encompassing tools for client, practitioner, services, and billing management, along with all major system maintenance features.
- CWS – Integrates the clinical tools necessary for Treatment/Care Planning, Individual and Group Progress Notes, Assessments, Nursing Reports, and Workflow Management. CWS also supports electronic views of laboratory results and other interdepartmental data and has optional features such as MDS entry/tracking, order entry, and pharmacy integration.
- MSO – Provides the ability to authorize care performed by contracting providers, manage claim adjudication, perform payment calculations based on negotiated fee schedules, and contract tracking.
- CFMS - Provides all of the necessary tools to create and maintain client bank accounts.
Additionally, RADplus controls how the user interacts with myAvatar and how myAvatar communicates with the Caché database. It includes items such as modeling, registry settings, document routing, and more.
