Edit Group Note For Individual (Workflow)

Edit progress note information for a client who was part of a group service. Progress note information for a group service is filed in the Enter Group Default Note (Workflow) form. Information from the Enter Group Default Note form populates this form and can be edited for an individual client.

Prerequisites:

  • In the Select T.P. Version field, a treatment plan must have been created in a treatment plan form.
  • Functionality can be added to this form through Site Specific Section Modeling.

Edit Group Note

  1. Go to: Avatar CWS > Progress Notes
  2. In the Group Name Or Number field, enter the group name, click Process Search. Click Ok.
  3. In the Date Of Service field, enter the date.
  4. In the Edit Note field, select the progress note to edit.
  5. In the Note field edit the progress note text.
  6. If appropriate, in the Select T.P. Version field, select the treatment plan version to populate the progress note problem text.
    Progress notes address problems in a treatment plan.
    The 'Use Date Of Service' registry setting can affect this field.
  7. In the User To Send Co-Sign To-Do Item field, select the user.
  8. Click: 
    • Skip Note to clear note fields and start over.
    • Clear Note to remove text in the Note field.
    • File Note to submit the progress note.
