Edit Group Progress Notes and Create Group Services

Edit group progress notes and create group services.


  1. In the Group Name Or Number field, enter the group name, select Process Search. Select Ok.
  2. In the Note Date field, enter the date.
  3. In the Select Note To Edit field, choose the group note.
  4. In the Progress Note For field, select New Service.
  5. In the Progress Note For field, select the group note type.
  6. In the Note Type field, select the progress note type.
  7. In the User To Send Co-Sign To-Do Item field, select the user.
    Note: Depending on the note type selected, this field may be enabled.
  8. In the Notes field, edit the progress note text.
  9. In the Date Of Service field, enter the service date.
  10. In the Service Charge Code field, enter the service code, select Process Search. Select Ok.
  11. In the Service Program field, select the program.
    Note: If a program does not display, check the Enable Admission vs. Service Program Functionality registry setting.
  12. In the Service Location field, select the location.
  13. In the Service Duration field, enter the duration.
  14. If appropriate, in the Practitioner field, enter a different practitioner name, select Process Search to select. Select Ok.
  15. Optional: If appropriate, in the Select T.P. Version field, select the treatment plan the progress note is associated with.
    • Select Select T.P. Item Note Addresses.
    • Choose the treatment plan item, select Return.
  16. The Note Addresses Which Treatment Plan Problem field displays the treatment plan item structure.
    Note: The Use Date of Service registry setting can affect this field.
  17. Select File Note.
