Edit Service Information (Charge Fee Access) - PM
Edit service information for multiple posted services.
Prerequisites:
- 'Yes' must be selected for the treatment program (Primarily Medical Program) on the Program Maintenance form to have services available for selection on the Ambulatory Services form.
- The service must be required by a client or a client and practitioner (Service Required By) on the Service Codes form.
- Go to: Avatar PM > Services > Ancillary/Ambulatory Services.
- For the Client ID, enter the client name or ID, and select.
- For the Episode Number, select the client episode.
- For the Service Start Date, enter the earliest service date to display in the Select Service(s) To Edit screen.
- For the Service End Date, enter the latest service date to list in the Select Service(s) To Edit screen.
Note: If no dates are entered, the Select Service(s) To Edit Screen displays all available services. - Select the Claim Number used to filter services.
- Select a Service Selection Default option:
- All - all services are chosen on the Select Service(s) To Edit screen
- None - no services are chosen on the Select Service(s) To Edit screen
- Choose Select Service(s) To Edit to display the Select Service(s) to Edit screen.
- Select the services to edit, choose OK
- Select the Service Code, Program, and Location.
- For the Duration (Minutes), enter the service duration.
- Enter the service fee for the Cost of Service.
Note: The Service Code, Program, Duration (Minutes), and Cost Of Service can be edited for services with an Open billing status. These fields are display-only for services with a Closed billing status. - If applicable, select a Note Reference Code (837 Billing).
- If applicable, for the Note Reference Text (837 Billing), enter reference information.
- For the Practitioner, enter the practitioner name or ID, and select.
- Select the practitioner Discipline.
- Enter the practitioner Modifiers.
- Enter the Service Start Time and End Time.
- For the Co-Practitioner, enter the practitioner name or ID, and select.
- For the Second Co Staff Member, enter the co staff member name or ID, and select.
- Enter the following information as applicable:
- Diagnosis 1
- Diagnosis 2
- Delay Reason Code
- Add-On Service
- Add-On Duration
- Add-On Notes
- Select Save Add-On Service to save the changes.
- For Selected Add-On Services, enter relevant information about the service.
- For Select Add-On Service Entry to Edit/Remove, choose a service.
- Select Remove Add-On Service to remove the selected service.
- Select Yes or No for Emergency Indicator.
- Select the Incident-To Practitioner.
- Enter the Co-Practitioner Duration (Minutes).
- Select Submit.
