Include Referring Practitioner - Registry Setting
Avatar PM > System Maintenance > Service Code Maintenance
This registry setting is hidden in Multiple Server Environments.
'Y' has the following effects on forms where the user is allowed to enter charge input or appointment scheduling information.
- The Does This Service Require A Referring Practitioner field is added to the Service Codes form (Add/Edit Service Codes section).
- The Referring Practitioner field becomes visible in all Client Charge Input forms, the Service Panel Charge Input form and all Appointment Scheduling forms.
To leave referring practitioner logic in place but make the Referring Practitioner field invisible in specific forms, use the following registry settings:
- Billing > Include Referring Practitioner (Client Charge Input)
- Billing > Include Referring Practitioner (Service Panel Charge Input)
- Scheduling > Appointment > Scheduling Forms - Fields to Include
'N' disables referring practitioner functionality completely.
