Edit Service Episode Number - Registry Setting

'Y' enables the ’Episode Number (Edit)’ field in the ’Edit Service Information’, and ’Edit Service Information (Charge Fee Access section)’ forms.

The episode number can be edited if the following is true:

  • The service is an open service.

  • No payments, adjustments, or transfers are posted against the service.

  • The new episode must be active for the date of service.

The service date cannot be before the episode admission date, or after the episode discharge date.
