Milestones/Interventions window

Path: Administration>Clinical>Milestones>Interventions

With the Milestones/Interventions window, you can add, edit, and delete milestones for interventions that describe the intervention-related health status evaluation of the patient.

Each milestone must be linked to the appropriate milestone type in the Type column (that are defined in Administration>Clinical>Milestone Types.)

If you indicate that an intervention is not done, then you can choose only from negative milestone responses such as "Exhaustion," or "Unable to do return demo". If you indicate that an intervention is done, then the application allows you to choose positive milestone responses such as "Demonstrates full knowledge," or "Normal assessment." The recorded milestones are shown on the visit history for a patient.

This window includes the following fields:

Code Description

Description

Enter the description for this intervention milestone, up to 60 alphanumeric characters.

Response Type

Select the response type for this intervention milestone, Positive or Negative.

Never change the response type of an existing negative milestone from negative to positive. If you do so, your previously entered clinical data will be not valid.

Type

Specify the milestone type for this intervention milestone. For example, related to patient, situation, or system. The type is defined in the Milestone Types Window in Administration>Clinical.

Inactive Date

Specify the date when this intervention milestone becomes inactive. When you make a milestone inactive, it is no longer available for selection in care plan charting; however, all uses of it in the past remains available and it is present on reports and documents.

Aide

Select this check box to make the intervention milestone available for a Home Health or Hospice Aide who is using Mobile Homecare Lite. For more information, refer to the Mobile Homecare Lite Setup Guide.
