The addresses may be defined in on the following locations: Insurance Plan, Insurance Company, Insurance Code, Branch, and Business Unit. The application determines the appropriate address to utilize based on a hierarchy system. The hierarchy is as follows: Insurance Plan, Insurance Company, Insurance Code, Branch and Business Unit. As the system goes through the hierarchy if an address is not defined at that level it looks to the next level to see if there is an address there, and continue until the highest level in the hierarchy, which is Business Unit.
The ability to define addresses to utilize for Claims, Orders and Reports can be completed using the Address Print Options Controls window. This window is accessible through Insurance Plans, Insurance Companies, Insurance Codes, Branches and Business Units by selecting the Print Address Exceptions check box. Below is a list of the areas where this function can be accessed in addition to the path for accessing the window.
