HL7 General Settings window
In this window, you can set up HL7 patient identifier options, inbound messaging options, and message logging options. This window contains the following tabs:
- HL7 General Settings window – Inbound Processing tab
- HL7 General Settings window – Logging tab
- HL7 General Settings window – R01 Message tab
HL7 General Settings window – Inbound Processing tab
With the Inbound Processing tab of the HL7 General Settings window, administrators can configure HL7 various options related to the HL7 inbound interface messages.
HL7 General Settings window – Logging tab
On this tab, you can select whether or not to store HL7 logs, which logs to save (for example, System Errors or System Events), and the period for storing these logs on the server.
- Clear HL7 logs after XX week(s) - Clears the stored log files after the specified number of weeks.
HL7 General Settings window – R01 Message tab
Use this tab to activate or inactivate the whole R01 Messaging process.
