Edit medications for patient
Path: Patient>Clinical>Medications
- In the Patient component, select a patient.
- Go to Clinical>Medications.
- Select the medication you want to edit. Note: Click the Show All radio button to view past and current medications, or click the Show Current radio button to view only the current medications.
- Edit the fields as appropriate.
- Save your changes.
Note: When you change an existing medication or add a new medication, a supplemental order is generated in the HCFA-485 form. If the HCFA-485 form is not created yet, the medication will be included in that form when it is generated. This only applies if the patient's insurance requires HCFA-485 and is set up to generate it.
