Navigate the Foster Care Portal

The Foster Care Portal allows foster parents and family members to access relevant information in their foster child's record within myEvolv.

Home

The Home screen provides users a snapshot of each component in the portal. Here, users can find:

  • Progress Tracker - Displays the number of scheduled tasks to be completed for the day and visually tracks the progress of those tasks. Choose See myTasks to view all tasks.
  • Calendar - Shows upcoming events for the week for any member of the family. Events can be selected and completed from within the schedule.
  • My Resources - Displays links, categorized by topic, that are helpful or supplemental documentation from the agency.
  • Care Team - Shows the primary worker selected for the family and any direct workers associated with the family. The ability to email any of the listed staff members is available.
  • My Family - Displays the applicant household, each member of the fostering family, and the placement. This view also shows tasks that are due for each member of the house.
  • Alerts - View the tasks with an approaching due date in the notification area along with any other notifications that have been sent to the logged in user. Users can add a new alert to send to primary workers and direct workers.
Tasks

The Tasks screen allows users to see the various tasks that are assigned to their home and individual family members. As tasks are completed, a green bar shows the progress of those tasks along with the number of tasks completed and remaining.

Selecting each task category shows a list of all tasks in that category to be completed for the home and across family members, and they display based on the status of the task: To Do, Submitted, In Progress, and Done

Initials on the left side of each task indicate which family member needs to complete the task. Users can also differentiate if the tasks are for the household or individual members by a home icon or person icon.

My Family

The My Family screen shows each member in the household, the placement, and the tasks that are due for each member and the household. Household tasks are typically associated with the actual home itself, such as a safety inspection.
