Treatment Plan Default Setup
Define the existing treatment plan data that will populate new treatment plans.
- Information that has populated can be edited.
- If information has been selected to populate, when new treatment plans are opened a dialog displays asking if information selected in this form should populate.
- If Yes is clicked, the Select A Treatment Plan To Default screen displays. Choose the treatment plan, click Ok.
In order for the treatment plan information to default, this form must be set up, and the Default From Previous Plan registry setting must be defined for each copy of the treatment plan (if there are multiple copies).
You can also create a customized confirmation message for defaulting plan information via the Default from Previous Plan - Message Text registry setting.

Go to: Avatar CWS > CWS Utilities - In the Select Treatment Plan field, select the default treatment plan.
Note: The Treatment Plan form, and treatment plans created through the Create New Treatment Plan form can be selected. - In the Select Treatment Plan Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select the field the fields that will populate in new treatment plans.
Result: The fields related to the selected treatment plan display. - In the Default fields, for each section, select whether information from the item (goal, objective, intervention, participation) will populate new treatment plans.
Problem Section
Identify problem information to default into treatment plans.
- In the Default Problem Section Data field, select whether problem information will populate new treatment plans.
- In the Select Problem Section Allowable Status Values For Problem to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select problem status to populate.
- In the Select Problem Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select fields to populate.
Goal Section
Identify goal information to default into treatment plans.
- In the Default Goal Section Data field, select whether goal information will populate new treatment plans.
- In the Select Goal Allowable Status Values for Goal to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select goal status to populate.
- In the Select Goal Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select fields to populate.
Objective Section
Identify objective information to default into treatment plans.
- In the Default Objective Status Data field, select whether objective information will populate new treatment plans.
- In the Select Objective Section Allowable Status Values for Objectives to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select objective status to populate.
- In the Select Objective Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select fields to populate.
Intervention Section
Identify intervention information to default into treatment plans.
- In the Default Intervention Section Data field, select whether intervention information will populate new treatment plans.
- In the Select Intervention Section Allowable Status Values for Interventions to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select intervention status to populate.
- In the Select Intervention Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select fields to populate.
Participation Section
Identify participation information to default into treatment plans.
- In the Default Participation Section Data field, select whether participation information will populate new treatment plans.
- In the Select Allowable Roles For Participant to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select roles to populate.
- In the Select Participation Section Prompts to be Copied to New Treatment Plan field, select fields to populate.
