Import Reports

Add reports to the myAvatar menu, or import an SQL report that can be accessed from a user-defined form.

  • This form works with reports created in Crystal Reports. Blank Crystal Reports can be used in this form.
  • Once imported, the report can be added to a form in the Form Definition form. In addition, reports used in Chart can be imported.
  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > Modeling

  2. Select Import Type.

    • Import Report as Form allows you to add an all-clients report form to the New Forms menu. When the form is selected, the report will execute.

    • Import Report for Command Button Launch allows you to run the report from a button on a form.

    • Import Report as Disclosure Management Chart Item allows for the report to be used within Disclosure Management.

    • Import Report for Document Routing allows for the report to be used when generating a document image via Document Routing.

  3. In the New or Existing field:

    • Select Import New Report to add a new report to myAvatar.
      For new reports:

      • Choose Select Report for Import.
        Result: An Open dialog displays.
      • Navigate to the report.
      • Select Ok
        Result: The Selected Report field displays the report file name.
    • Select Update Existing Report to update a report (Existing Report field).
      For existing reports:

      • Select the report in the Existing Report field.
        Result: Reports imported into myAvatar are available.
    • In the Report Description field, enter the report title for new reports.

    • In the Menu to Place Report Under field, select the menu location for new reports.

    • In the Does This Report Require ODBC Connections In Addition to the Current Database field, select Yes to include multiple ODBC connections in the report.

  4. Define the ODBC connection.
  5. In the Show Group Tree field, select Yes to display the report group tree.

  6. Click Submit.

Facilities with CDR Enabled

The Database to Report Against field displays when the CDR has been enabled.

  • Select Current Database to run the report against the myAvatar application database.
  • Select CDR Database to run the report against the parent system.
