Envelope Export

You can use this form to export a copy of a user-defined envelope to a text (.txt) file. This text file can then be imported into any compatible myAvatar solution by using the Envelope Import form. This is useful for transferring an envelope from your BUILD environment to UAT, and then to LIVE as necessary.

When an envelope is exported, any form designer changes done to modeled forms in the envelope will be exported.

Prerequisites:

  • You must be logged into the build environment (system code) where the envelope was created. (In most cases this is the BUILD system code.)
  • The envelope must be able for export (Yes selected in the 'Is Envelope Eligible for Export' field, Envelope Definition form).
  • Reports associated with the envelope must be able for export (Yes selected in the 'Is Report Eligible for Export' field, Report Definition form).
  1. Navigate to: RADplus Utilities > Modeling
  2. Select whether or not you want to export the envelope of the modeled form in addition to the most current form designer changes.
  3. Select Begin Export. 
    Result: An Open dialog box displays.
  4. Navigate to the file.
  5. Select Save.

Note: Once a Draft/Final or Draft/Pending Approval/Final column is added to a table, it cannot be removed from that table or any associated options. A new envelope must be remodeled, omitting the column.
