Assign views to a user
In myAvatar, give a user access to a view by associating the view with the user or their user role(s).
You can associate a user with multiple user roles, which gives them access to multiple views.
Note: In myAvatar NX, use the NX View Definition form to assign views to users and user roles.
Prerequisites:
- The user is created in User Definition.
- Appropriate views are created in View Definition.
- Go to RADplus Utilities > System Security > User Maintenance > User Definition.
- Select the user.
- For Associate User with a User Role, select Yes or No as appropriate.
- If Yes is selected, choose the User Role(s).
- Optional. For Allow User Role Customization, select Yes to let the user change the layout for the view.
- Select Home/Chart View and Abstracts in the left panel.
- Choose the Home View to associate with the user:
- In the View Definition form, Home Views have 'Home View' selected for the View Type.
- The Home View is the default view and displays as the first view.
- All other associated views display in alphabetical order, according to how they were selected in View Definition.
- Select Submit.
