Assign views to a user

In myAvatar, give a user access to a view by associating the view with the user or their user role(s).

You can associate a user with multiple user roles, which gives them access to multiple views.

Note: In myAvatar NX, use the NX View Definition form to assign views to users and user roles.

Prerequisites:

  1. Go to RADplus Utilities > System Security > User Maintenance > User Definition.
  2. Select the user.
  3. For Associate User with a User Role, select Yes or No as appropriate.
  4. If Yes is selected, choose the User Role(s).
  5. Optional. For Allow User Role Customization, select Yes to let the user change the layout for the view.
  6. Select Home/Chart View and Abstracts in the left panel.
  7. Choose the Home View to associate with the user:
  • In the View Definition form, Home Views have 'Home View' selected for the View Type.
  • The Home View is the default view and displays as the first view.
  • All other associated views display in alphabetical order, according to how they were selected in View Definition.
  1. Select Submit.
