Avatar Cal-PM - Physician Team Functionality
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Admission
- Team Definition
Scenario 1: Validate the 'Recent Clients' list functionality
Specific Setup:
- A user must be defined and logged in (User A).
- "User A" must be associated to a user role (Role A).
- The 'RADplus->Database Management->Client Lookup->->->Enable enhanced caseload management from the 'Clients and Data' widget' registry setting must be set to "Role A".
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- Four clients must have active episodes not part of "User A's" caseload. (Client A, Client B, Client C, and Client D).
Steps
- Search for and select “Client A” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Access any form within the application for “Client A”.
- Close the form.
- Validate that "Client A" is displayed under 'Recent Clients'.
- Right click “Client A” and select [Remove From List].
- Validate that the 'Recent Clients' list does not contain "Client A".
- Search for and select “Client B” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Access any form within the application for “Client B”.
- Close the form.
- Validate that “Client B” displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Search for and select “Client C” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Access any form within the application for “Client C”.
- Close the form.
- Validate that “Client B” and “Client C” display in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Right click “Client B” and select [Remove From List].
- Validate that “Client B” is not displayed in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Right click “Client C” and select [Remove From List].
- Validate that “Client C” is not displayed in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Search for and select “Client D” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Access any form within the application for “Client D”.
- Close the form.
- Validate that “Client D” displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Right click “Client D” and select [Remove From List].
- Validate that “Client D” is not displayed in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Access the ‘Admission’ form.
- Fill out all required fields and click [Submit]. This will be "Client E".
- Validate that “Client E” displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Access the ‘Team Definition’ form.
- Set the 'Team ID' field to "PT1".
- Set the 'Team Description' field to "Physician Team 1".
- Select "Yes" In the 'Active' field.
- Select "Yes" in the 'Physician Team' field.
- Select "Yes" in the 'Team Accepts Consult Orders' field.
- Click [Select Users].
- Select "User A" and click [OK].
- Select "No" in the 'Disable Adding Clients to Caseload' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Use Team Finalizer as Default Supervisor for Document Routing' field.
- Validate the 'Team Information' field contains "User A"
- Select the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ section.
- Click [Add New Item].
- Search for and select “Client E” in the ‘Client ID’ field.
- Select the ‘Team Definition’ section and click [File].
- Validate a "Filed" message is displayed and click [OK].
- Close the form.
- Validate that “Client E” displays in the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Right click "Client E" and select [Remove From Physician Team].
- Access the ‘Team Definition’ form.
- Click [Select Team].
- Select “PT1 (Physician Team Test)” in the ‘Select one of the following’ field and click [OK].
- Select the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ section.
- Validate that “Client E” no longer displays in the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ grid.
- Close the form.
Scenario 2: Caseload by Attending Practitioner - Confirm attending practitioner has the client on their Caseload
Specific Setup:
- Avatar PM 2021 Update 118, Avatar Cal-PM 2022 Update 46, and RADplus 2021 Update 116 are required in order to utilize full functionality.
- The 'RADplus->System Security->Team Definition->->->Update Physician Team Caseload based on Admitting or Attending Practitioner' registry setting must be set to "Y".
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A Team must exist via the 'Team Definition' form with the user who is logged into the application selected. (Physician Team 1)
- The user must have access to the 'SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload' table.
- A client must be admitted into an Outpatient program. (Client A)
Steps
- Select “Client A” and access the ‘Attending Practitioner’ form.
- Set the ‘Date of Assignment’ field to the current date.
- Set the ‘Time of Assignment’ field to the current time.
- Search for and select the practitioner who is associated with the user who is logged into the application in the ‘Attending Practitioner’ field and click [Submit].
- Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload' table and included the following fields: 'PATID', 'USERID', 'caseload_type_csm_code', and 'caseload_type_csm_value'.
- Filter the report by selecting "Client A's PATID" in the 'PATID' field.
- Validate there are two rows displayed for the new client created.
- Validate the ‘USERID’ field contains the USERID for the user logged into the application.
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_code' field contains a row with "ATTENDING" and one row with "TEAM".
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_value' field contains a row with "Attending Practitioner Caseload" and one row with "Team Caseload Assignment".
- Close the report.
- Set the 'The 'RADplus->System Security->Team Definition->->->Update Physician Team Caseload based on Admitting or Attending Practitioner' registry setting to "N".
- Access the 'Admission' form and create a new client in an Outpatient episode. (Client B).
- Select “Client B” and access the ‘Attending Practitioner’ form.
- Set the ‘Date of Assignment’ field to the current date.
- Set the ‘Time of Assignment’ field to the current time.
- Search for and select the practitioner who is associated with the user who is logged into the application in the ‘Attending Practitioner’ field and click [Submit].
- Refresh the report created using the 'SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload' table.
- Filter the report by selecting "Client B's PATID" in the 'PATID' field.
- Validate there is one row displayed for the new client created.
- Validate the ‘USERID’ field contains the USERID for the user logged into the application.
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_code' field contains a row with "ATTENDING".
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_value' field contains a row with "Attending Practitioner Caseload".
- Close the report.
Scenario 3: 'Admission' form - admission of a new client with a 'Team Assignment' filed
Specific Setup:
- Avatar PM 2021 Update 118 or Avatar Cal-PM 2022 Update 46, and RADplus 2021 Update 116 must be installed to utilize full functionality.
- The 'RADplus->System Security->Team Definition->->->Update Physician Team Caseload based on Admitting or Attending Practitioner' registry setting must be set to "Y".
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A team must exist via the 'Team Definition' form with two staff members selected. (Physician Team 1)
- The user must have access to the 'SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload' table.
Steps
- Access the 'Admission' form.
- Admit a new client (Client A) ensuring that the staff member associated with "User A" is selected in the 'Admitting Practitioner' field.
- Create a report using the ‘SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload’ table with the following fields included: 'PATID', 'USERID', 'caseload_type_csm_code', and 'caseload_type_csm_value' .
- Filter the report by selecting "Client A's PATID" in the 'PATID' field.
- Validate there are three rows displayed.
- Validate the ‘USERID’ field contains the USERID for the user logged into the application.
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_code' field contains a row with "ADMITTING" and two rows with "TEAM".
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_value' field contains a row with "Admitting Practitioner Caseload" and two rows with "Team Caseload Assignment".
- Close the report.
- Access the 'Admission' form.
- Admit a new client (Client B) ensuring that the staff member associated with "User B" is selected in the 'Attending Practitioner' field.
- Create a report using the ‘SYSTEM.RADplus_caseload’ table with the following fields included: 'PATID', 'USERID', 'caseload_type_csm_code', and 'caseload_type_csm_value' .
- Filter the report by selecting "Client A's PATID" in the 'PATID' field.
- Validate there are three rows displayed.
- Validate the ‘USERID’ field contains the USERID for the user logged into the application.
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_code' field contains a row with "ATTENDING" and two rows with "TEAM".
- Validate the 'caseload_type_CSM_value' field contains a row with "Attending Practitioner Caseload" and two rows with "Team Caseload Assignment".
- Close the report.
Scenario 4: 'My Clients' widget - Add to My Caseload, Remove From My Caseload
Specific Setup:
- Avatar PM 2021 Update 118 or Cal-PM 2022 Update 46, RADplus 2021 Update 116, RADplus 2022 Update 19, and myAvatar Client Update 2513-003 or 3201-001 must be installed in order to utilize full functionality.
- A user must be defined and logged in (User A).
- "User A" must be associated to a user role (Role A).
- The 'RADplus->Database Management->Client Lookup->->->Enable enhanced caseload management from the 'Clients and Data' widget' registry setting must be set to "Role A".
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A team must already be setup in the 'Team Definition' form. (Physician Team 1)
Steps
- Access the ‘Admission’ form.
- Fill out all required fields and click [Submit]. This will be "Client A"
- Validate that "Client A" displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
- Right click "Client A" and select [Add to My Caseload].
- Validate the ‘My Clients’ widget contains “Client A”.
- Right click "Client A" under 'My Clients' and select [Remove From My Caseload].
- Validate that “Client A” no longer displays in the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Access the ‘Team Definition’ form.
- Click [Select Team].
- Select “PT1 (Physician Team Test)” in the ‘Select one of the following’ field and click [OK].
- Select the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ section.
- Search for and select “Client A” in the ‘Client ID’ field.
- Select the ‘Team Definition’ section and click [File].
- Validate a "Filed" message is displayed and click [OK].
- Close the form.
- Validate that “Client A” does not display in the ‘My Clients’ widget.
- Right click "Client A" in 'Recent Clients' and select [Add to My Caseload].
- Validate the ‘My Clients’ widget contains “Client A”.
- Right click "Client A" and select [Remove From Physician Team].
- Validate the ‘My Clients’ widget contains “Client A”.
- Right click "Client A" under 'My Clients' and select [Remove From My Caseload].
- Validate that “Client A” no longer displays in the ‘My Clients’ widget.
