Check Receipt Report

Generate a report that lists the check or receipt numbers used in the posted transactions for client accounts.

  • The report can be generated for a single number or a range of check or receipt numbers used in posted transactions.

This report displays fields from several forms.

  1. In the Check or Receipt field:
  • Select Check to generate a report that contains only the check numbers (individual or range of numbers) used in posted transactions. Check numbers are only used for withdrawing (debiting) funds from a client account.
  • Select Receipt to generate a report that contains only the receipt numbers (individual or range of numbers) used in posted transactions. Receipt numbers are only used for depositing (crediting) funds to a client account.
  1. In the Individual Check/Receipt # or Range field:
  • Select Individual to generate a report that only contains the transaction information associated with the number or numbers entered in the Individual Check/Receipt Number field.
  • Select Range to generate a report that contains the transaction information for a range of numbers as defined in the Starting and Ending Check/Receipt Number fields.
  1. In the Individual Check/Receipt Number field, enter the check/receipt number(s) to include in the report. Multiple check numbers can be entered but must be separated using commas to be recognized as different numbers. The number of check/receipt numbers is limited by the field width.
  2. In the Starting Check/Receipt Number field, enter the starting check or receipt number of the number range.
  3. In the Ending Check/Receipt Number field, enter the ending check or receipt number of the number range.
  4. Click Process.
    This information in this report is generated from transactions posted in the Individual Transaction Posting or Post Recurring Transactions forms. It contains the following information:
  • Client Name
  • Account Number
  • Transaction Code - This is the transaction code associated with the check or receipt number.
  • Amount - This is the amount of the check or receipt.
  • Transaction Date - This is the date of the transaction.
  • Check # or Receipt # - This is the check or receipt number as entered in the associated fields in the Transaction Posting forms.
