Individual Transaction Posting

Post deposits and withdrawals to the selected client account.

  1. Go to: Avatar CFMS > Account Management > Individual Transaction Posting
  2. In the Client Name/ID# field, enter the client name or ID number. Select the client for transaction posting.
  3. In the Account Number field, select the account number. This list only contains the open accounts created for the client in the Account Registration form.
  4. The Balance field displays the total account balance. Any soft or hard holds are not reflected in this balance (see Funds Hold Entry).
  5. In the Date Of Transaction field, enter the appropriate date.
  6. In the Transaction Code field, select a code. Transactions codes are created in the Add or Edit Transaction Codes form. A credit transaction code increases the account balance. A debit transaction code decreases the account balance.
  7. The Credit Or Debit Transaction field displays the transaction code type.
  8. In the Description Of Transaction field, enter a description to accompany the transaction.
  9. In the Enter Dollar Amount field, enter the amount of the transaction.
  10. In the Check Number field, enter the check number used for the withdrawal (Debit Codes only).
  11. In the Receipt Number field, enter the receipt number used for the deposit (Credit Codes only).
  12. In the Withdrawal Number field, enter the number associated with the withdrawal (Debit Codes only).
  13. Click Submit.
