Initiate an internal client referral - PM

Initiate the internal referral process for a client. *At this time, Internal Client Referral process is only supported in myAvatar PM*

1. Go to: Avatar PM > Referral Management
2. In the Client Being Referred field, select the client.
3. In the Internal Referral Type Category field, select a category by which to filter referral results. The available options are: Group, Program, Team, or Other.
4. The Internal Referral Type Being Requested field displays all referrals filtered by the category chosen in the Internal Referral Type Category field.
5. In the Episode field, select the client episode for which the referral is being made.
6. The Internal Referral Type Description field displays the detailed referral description that was entered on the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
7. Select the appropriate Group, Program, or Team based on the Internal Referral Type Category previously chosen.
   • If the referral is categorized by Group, select the specific group the client is being referred to in the Internal Referral Group field. This field lists the group choices that have been selected in the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
   • If the referral is categorized by Program, select the specific program the client is being referred to in the Internal Referral Program field. This field lists the program choices that have been selected in the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
   • If the referral is categorized by Team, select the specific team the client is being referred to in the Internal Referral Team field. This field list the team choices that have been selected in the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
8. Click Initiate Referral Process. The modeled form associated with this referral will open automatically.
