File format requirements for Client Merge By Batch.
- The batch file should be a text (.txt) file, created in Notepad or any other Windows-based text editor.
- The columns, which are separated with a pipe (|) character, are:
- Source Client ID|Source Client Episode|Target Client ID|Create New Episode
For example: 3|1|1|Y- In this case, the source client (ID #3) information from the first episode (#1) will be merged into the target client (ID #1). The merge will create a new client episode for the target client (#1); this is denoted by the 'Y' ('N' will not create a new episode).
