MHSA - XML Submission - Cal-PM
Compile, submit, or print an MHSA file in XML format.
Note:
- This information in this file is retrieved from the Partnership Assessment Form, Quarterly Assessment Form, and Key Event Tracking Form forms.
- If appropriate, MHSA files that have been submitted can be deleted through the Delete MHSA XML Submitted File(s) form.
- The location to store MHSA submission files must be defined in the Facility Defaults form (Output Path On Server For Electronic Billing field).

Go to: Avatar PM > Client Management > California Data Reporting > MHSA Assessments > MHSA XML Submission - In the Option field:
- Select Compile to assemble myAvatar MHSA information into a file. Once compiled, this file can be printed or submitted.
- Select Print to generate a report that details the MHSA file.
- Select Submit to create the MHSA file. When this form is filed, a dialog will display the file name and storage location.
- In the Select File to Print/Submit field, select the MHSA file.
- If Print is selected (Option field), this field contains compiled and submitted MHSA files.
- If Submit is selected, this field contains compiled MHSA files.
- The From Date field shows one of the following:
- The through date of the last submitted MHSA file
- The date the file was compiled.
- The date (From Date field) of the file selected in the Select File to Print/Submit field.
Note: When a file is submitted, the Through Date will be used as the next From Date.
- In the Through Date field, enter the last date to include in the compiled file. The through date must be the last date of the month, and must be before today's date.
- In the Create File field:
- Select Review to create a “draft” MHSA file. The file can be compiled multiple times when Review is selected.
- Select Final to create the MHSA submission file.
- Select Print Selected File Information to generate a report that details MHSA information. If the file contains errors (missing or incorrect MHSA data), the information must be entered or corrected to submit the file.
- Select Print Selected File Error(s) to generate a report that details errors in the MHSA file. The report shows missing MHSA data. Missing data can be entered in the associated MHSA form.
- Select Submit. If the MHSA file is being submitted, a dialog displays the file name and location.
