Manage resources
Manage resources that can be scheduled with an appointment. Resources are utilized by the Scheduling Calendar to reserve specific resources for particular appointments.
- Resources are inventoried, so they can be tied to an appointment and cannot be overbooked. Once a resource is on the Resource List for an appointment (Add Appointment Screen), it cannot be reserved for another appointment during that time slot at that site.
- Any appointment at the site can reserve an available resource.

Add a Resource
- In the Add/Edit field, select Add to add a new resource.
- In the Site field, search for and select the location for the resource. Resources are not shared across different sites.
- In the New Resource field, enter the unique ID for the resource. This ID must be alphanumeric and cannot contain spaces.
- In the Resource Description field, enter the searchable name or description of the resource.
- In the Resource Type field, select the category this resource belongs to.
- Click Submit.
Edit a Resource
- In the Add/Edit field, select Edit to edit an existing resource.
- In the Existing Resource field, search for and select the desired resource.
- The Site field displays the selected location for the resource.
- The New Resource field displays the unique ID.
- In the Resource Description field, edit the searchable name or description of the resource.
- In the Resource Type field, select the category this resource belongs to.
- Click Submit.
Inactivate a Resource
- In the Add/Edit field, select Edit to edit an existing resource.
- In the Existing Resource field, search for and select the desired resource.
- In the Inactive field, check the Yes box. Inactive resources will not display for use in the Resource field on the Scheduling Calendar.
- Click Submit.
Report on Resources
- Click the List All Resources button to launch the Resource Definition Report.
