CCBHC PPS Compile - PM

• This process can be run manually through this form, or automatically through the System Task Scheduler.

• During the CCBHC PPS Compile Process, the PPS charge will be saved with the Assigned Service Program on the PPS Service Definition form. If the Assigned Service Program field is left blank, then the PPS charge will be assigned to the Service Program associated with the first enumerated visit found for the client.

• The CCBHC PPS Compile Process will assign the practitioner from the first enumerated service to the PPS service charge if the PPS service code Service Required By is either Both or Provider. A practitioner will not be assigned to the PPS service charge if the Service Required By is Client Only.

• The process will exclude an enumerated service from the compile if:

  • The service liability would not be able to distribute to the client's CCBHC guarantor defined in their Financial Eligibility.

  • The PPS-2 service is not applicable to the population (defined in the Service Codes to Exclude field of the CCBHC PPS-2 Service Definition section of the CCBHC PPS Service Definition form).

• If there are multiple population entries valid for the current month, the compile process will pull the most recently filed population code from the CCBHC Population Maintenance form.

The compile process will find services across all episodes of care that meet all of the following criteria:

• The service code is closed or claimed.
• The service is defined as a CCBHC service (Service Codes form).
• The service is distributable to a CCBHC guarantor (Guarantors/Payors form).
• The service was rendered at a CCBHC Location.

1. In the Start Date field, enter the first date of services to include in the compile.
   • For agencies that process PPS-1 service, the date can be any date.
   • For agencies that process PPS-2 service, the date must be the first of the month.
2. In the End Date field, enter the last date of services to include in the compile.
   • For agencies that process PPS-1 service, the date can be any date.
   • For agencies that process PPS-2 service, the date must be the last date of the month.
3. Click Compile & Post Services. The process runs and all PPS services are posted based on the compile process rules.
