Additional Drug Information Section - PM

Supplies additional information about the prescription being entered.

Note: All fields are display-only and are automatically populated from the RxConnect pharmacy charges sent through the HL7 module.

1. The Compound Code field indicates if a prescription is a compound of multiple NDC#s.
2. The Date Prescription Written field displays the date.
3. The Bill As Bulk Medication field indicates if a medication should be billed as 'bulk'.
4. The Days Supply field, displays the number of days this prescription should last.
5. The Dispense As Written field indicates whether or not generic substitutions are acceptable.
6. The Cost Basis field displays the basis of cost determination.
7. The Place Of Service field displays the location where the drug or service is administered.
8. The Special Packaging Indicator field displays how the drug was packaged for delivery.
9. The Surcharge Amount field displays the additional fee that can be added either to each individual dispense charge or to the rolled up charge posted to the ledger. This represents the Dispensing Fee.
10. The Fill Number field displays the fill number.
