Define Client Funds Interface to PM

Define an interface between a client's CFMS account and the PM system.

  • This form works in conjunction with the Post Client Funds Interface to PM form to allow the client's CFMS account funds to be used to post payments for services posted in the myAvatar PM system.

Note: In order to access this form, the client must be associated with a self pay guarantor.

  1. Go to: Avatar CFMS > Account Management > Define Client Funds Interface to PM
  2. In the Select Client screen, enter the client name or ID number.
  • Select a client from the list.
  • If the client has existing client funds interface records, the pre-display shows.
  1. In the Interface Effective Date field, enter the first date that the funds can be posted.
  2. In the Interface End Date field, enter the last date that the funds can be posted.
  3. In the Guarantor To Post Against field, select a guarantor from the list. Only self pay guarantors that are assigned to the client will appear in this list. The funds are posted against this guarantor's liability.
  4. In the Amount To Post Per Process field, enter the amount to be posted. This amount is posted each time this interface is selected for posting in the Post Client Funds Interface to PM form.
  5. In the Posting Code field, select the code.
  6. In the Account To Withdraw From field, select the account number. This list consists of only those open account numbers registered to the selected client.
  7. In the Withdrawal Code field, select a transaction code. Code definitions are listed in the Add or Edit Transaction Codes form.
Note: Only transaction codes that are set up as debit codes, and have No selected in the Is this a Hold Code field will appear.
  8. Click Submit.
