Prognosis Codes window
Path: Administration>Clinical>Prognosis Codes
With the Prognosis Codes window, you can add, edit and delete prognosis codes.
The prognosis codes will print on the HCFA 485, box 20. The code that is most often used can be set as the default prognosis. Only agencies using generic orders can edit prognosis codes.

| Code | Enter the one-character code for this prognosis. |
| Description | Enter the description for this prognosis code, up to 36 alphanumeric characters. |
| Default |
Select the Default check box to mark the selected prognosis code as the default prognosis code. Only one prognosis code can be designated as the default. |
Agencies using the HCFA 485 must use the HCFA codes:
