Add Quick-Entry Phrase

Path: Administration>Clinical>Quick-Entry Phrases 

  1. Go to Administration>Clinical>Quick-Entry Phrases.
  2. Select the item for which to add a quick-entry phrase.
  3. Enter the description as appropriate.
  4. Add a row into the table.
  5. In the Default panel, enter the text you want to appear by default on orders using this item.
  6. Save your changes.

Note: The Allergies field in the Patient component is a mandatory field; therefore, it is necessary to add the code NKA (no known allergies) or NKDA (no known drug allergies) to the Quick-Entry Phrases window in the Allergies category.
