Generate Face-to-Face Documents (Patient)
Path: Patient>Documents>Face-to-Face Documents
If a face-to-face document was not provided for a home health patient at the time of referral or admission, you need to generate it internally.
- In the Patient component, select a home health patient.
- Go to Documents>Face-to-Face Documents.
- On the Define tab of the Face-to-Face Documents window, add a new row. Important: If providing physician is defined in the F2F Resource field of the Admissions & Status window – Encounter Information tab, the Inpatient form is generated for this physician. If providing physician is defined in the MD#1 field of the Admissions & Status window, the Community form is generated for MD#1.
- You can copy and save details from a paper face-to-face document to a soft copy using the Face-to-Face Details dialog. To access this dialog, click the ellipsis button in the Details column or double-click the record.
- Click the Preview tab.
Note: Blank space is left at the top of the form, so that the agency can print its own header. - If the document is ready for signature, proceed with Print Face-to-Face Documents (Patient or Orders).
