Print Face-to-Face Documents (Patient)
Path: Patient>Documents>Face-to-Face Documents
Prerequisite: To print or reprint face-to-face documents, you need to have the appropriate privilege granted by the Netsmart Homecare administrator.
By printing a face-to-face document, you change its status to Pending and make it available for signing and processing.
- In the Patient component, select a home health patient.
- Go to Documents>Face-to-Face Documents. The generated face-to-face document for the patient is shown. If a physician uses Physician Portal, the document is displayed in the Electronic Signature section.
- Select the previously generated face-to-face document that you want to print for further signature (applies to the New status only).
- Click the Preview tab.
- If a face-to-face document is ready for signature, change its status to Pending:
- For paper signature, print face-to-face document using the Preview toolbar.
- For electronic signature, click Set Pending, and then click Save.
- Face-to-face document appears on Physician Portal for review and signature.
Note: The Admissions & Status window – Encounter Information tab is automatically updated showing that the face- to-face document was created with the Pending status.
